Professional Bio-
Elle Steele is a trailblazer with a truly unique resume, connected by one powerful belief: when we tap into our personal power, we unlock the potential to heal, grow, and achieve greatness. Born with a congenital disability and a hand abnormality, Elle has faced and overcome more than 35 surgeries, including two knee replacements. Her journey has been marked by countless physical and mental challenges, which she has met with unwavering resilience.
Elle’s athletic career began at age 11, when she set her sights on competing in the 2000 Paralympic Games. By 17, she had turned that dream into reality, earning medals and breaking national records. Elle went on to become the first woman to play wheelchair rugby for Victoria, and she demonstrated exceptional leadership as the captain of Australian swimming teams.
After 20 years in elite sports and retiring due to injury, Elle transitioned to neurolinguistics, where she discovered the profound impact of language on her perception of disability and happiness. Rejecting the stereotypes imposed on her, Elle realized that changing her mindset could alter her outcomes, a revelation that fueled her work in integrative energy therapies and neurolinguistics.
With a focus on the mind-body connection, Elle has dedicated the past 14 years to empowering others to achieve success, leadership, and personal happiness. Her journey from athlete to mentor has inspired her to create The Self Belief Club, a wellness and mindset coaching program designed to help athletes and individuals reach their fullest potential.
In recent years, Elle has expanded her influence as the National Project Manager for Building Inclusive Sports Clubs,
a Change Our Game Ambassador for the Office of Women in Sport, and a mentor for Paralympics Australia athletes. Through her TEDx talk, “The Dance of Disability,” Elle challenges societal views on disability, emphasizing that the real barriers are created by a world that isn’t built for diversity.
Elle’s work has garnered attention from prestigious media outlets like ABC News, TEDx, GT Magazine, the Listenable podcast, and the I Can’t Stand Podcast. Through her signature approach to leadership, mindset, and disability awareness, Elle has made a lasting impact on clients around the globe.
Elle firmly believes that when you shift your mindset and embrace your unique gifts, your personal power becomes limitless.
